frame is back pic in gallery
After 2 years I finally feal like I am started on this prodject. I had to replace the frame rivets on a couple of crossmembers, straightened bent frame members and just spent a lot of time getting the frame up to were I wanted it. I know I could have replaced the rivets with bolts but that is just the cheep and easy way out. Bottom line is I am very happy with the results. Now to the rest of the project.

Just checked out your gallery,that's a great looking project. I like your choice of colour, is that called medow green mist. This is probably not going to be a daily driver, what are your plans of use, a car hauler?

The color is just a color the powder coat came in. I like the color so I went with that. It is easier to match paint to some color them match any paint color to powder coat or apholstery material. Gathered all the paint, powder coat and apholstery colors before I started. I am going to make a tractor out of this with the fifth wheel, side tanks and much more. The goal is a period correct looking truck with some doll up stuff but still a 1954. Keep the original frame and suspension and put in the lincoln engine out of a 750. I also plan on puting on air brakes from a C800.
