There were never "Flareside" longbeds for your vintage/generation of truck.
The last longbed Flaresides were on Dentside trucks (up to 79).
F150s had short beds in the 80s and stopped in 1987 until picked up in the 92? model year with the new composite style bed. (no wood bed floor and molded fenders).
You will have to build your own longbed, but you would still have to choose what type oldschool (wood bed/steel fenders) or composite (steel bed/composite fenders).
The looks of these types were very different too.

The 70's bed r same basic bed as newer 80's ones. Just different fenders. So u can find one and put the newer fenders on. They r easy to make tho . If u have access to heavy meatal

An FTE sponsor National Parts Depot has fenders for the Flareside bed that will match your 90s bodylines/ wheelwell openings.

You can use the replacement fenders on the older bed. The 70s fenders are more rounded and not creased like the 80s type.

I guess a paint job after the new bed will be next.
It looks like a good base for a project truck.

You maybe able to sell your straight box to offset the cost of the flareside bed.

OR

See if the guy will trade you.

How is your truck running at this point?

project

I am picking up a duelley bed from a friend of mine tomorrow. I am going to narrow it to make a long bed stepside! I am debating on tailight filler panels and true stepside tailights, or leaving the stocks in. Or ,I am thinking of filling the tailight holes and putting tailights in the rear bumper I want to build.
