Can somone please help
which wire in the 2001 Exporer XLT is the remote wire for the amp
getting frustrated about to say the H@#% with it Never had any problems with hooking up systems before. any help is appreciated

If you can't find it, there probably isn't one. You could get a test light and try each wire and find the one that powers up when the radio comes on, but there may not be one.
If your trying to hook up an amp, you could run a toggle switch to the batt. I know some guys that just hook the remote wire up at the amp connector and it stays on 24/7.
