95 2.3 Cut off while coasting down hill
Ok. I'm not very good at explaining this stuff, but I am going to give this a shot. Need some options on where to start, I don't want to throw good money to bad, but I love my little red truck!
1995 Ranger 2.3 with 142k miles. This is a weekend run to home depot truck, and at times I pull my boat about 10 miles to the lake about 5 times a year. I was coasting down hill at about 50 miles an hour and the engine cut off. Check engine light came on, and it would not start. Seems that there is no fuel getting to it. Have no idea how to check. appreciate any help in advance!

Take it to auto zone or somewhere and get them to pull codes.
If you think its fuel i would go ahead and change the fuel filter as your mileage indicates its needed. should be around 5-7 bucks and easy to change.
