alternator

Mine went out at 89000 miles 04 4x4 6.0 Only showing 8.5 volts . Is this connected to the 100k warranty?

Another question; what are the best bushings for sway bar and links?

No. It's considered an electrical system part, not an engine part.

If you are looking for a larger alternator then I would go with the stinger 200amp or Wrangler. They are both great at providing clean power. I personally have the stinger 220amp.

i just installed a dual alternator setup on my truck from daves dc electric. it has 2-175 amp alts. the first alt is just for the truck and the second is just for accessories. i also installed a dual battery tray from wrangler. now, when i turn the stereo up, i have almost 100 amps drawn from it, the lights dont even flicker. when i had the factory setup, at 2000 rpms, and the lights and stereo on, the alt was maxed out and still only able to charge the battery at 11.8 volts. it was about as much to install the dual alts as it was to get a large single. the dual alt way is better any day of the week that a large single. if you dont have a bunch of aftermarket stuff drawing alot of amps, then a single is def the way to go.
