But the short answer... Yes, they are. Search ebay, you can find them cheaper.
Are you towing with your Ex with mixed results or are you simply trying to fix some of the things many of us complain about?

Okay...your setup is fairly close to my old one.
I had a 27' (30' ball to bumper) 7500# TT that I towed with a Dual Cam with 1200# bars.
The ONLY modification I made to my Ex for that setup was a rear sway bar. If you do NOT have a rear sway bar...I'd highly recommend one...although a couple of members here have just done the RAS without doing the rear sway bar and they have had good success so far...so you may be well on the way to correcting the problem.
Can I ask if you have verified your WD setup via a scale? If you haven't...you may have a tongue that is too light or you may not be shifting enough weight back to the front axle of your Ex thru WD or you may have too light of WD bars or you may have too heavy of WD bars and shifting TOO MUCH back to the front axle...as you can see...there could be numerous causes for your instability...a scale does NOT lie and tells you how you have things balance.
You should have a minimum of 10% of the actual loaded TT weight as tongue...better is actually 12-13% of the loaded weight as tongue for a natural anti-sway towing experience.
Also tires...do you have range D or E on your Ex? And what pressures do you run?
I ran into something that many on here don't...I have range E tires and when I pump them up to near 80psi...I get a REAL squirmy handling phenom...I've experimented and found that 70 rear and 60 front works best for my balance and handling...
Your issue may simply be tires and/or tire pressures...
The DC is an EXCELLENT sway device...but it does need to be properly set up...I've found that most RV dealers have never worked with one before...they are simply schooled in friction bars...sad but true in many cases...
I know I could dial in my Ex previously with the DC and only a Hellwig rear sway bar and I towed over 8000 miles with that setup...and she was rock solid...but I had mine dialed in via a scale...
The Ex can be an incredible TV...but she is finicky and requires you to play a litte to find the handling balance...but once you do...you are rewarded...
The RAS based on the members here that ONLY have the RAS...have reported excellent results...I had my Hellwig prior to my RAS so I cannot say...but those that are RAS only are great sources of information...Mark Moore happens to be one of them.
Let me know if you need any help balancing things out...with three simple weights we can get you balanced...if you are off balance...you'll need a couple more but nothing we can't get squared away.
Good luck,
joe.
