So, i took in the 05 F-250 for some AC work, they replaced a cycling switch that was bad. Then they said they had to do the three outstanding recalls on it which they were working on and the service guy called me and said the check engine light is on, so they are looking into that to.
Figures...never had a CEL in 34,000 miles. Is this a non-issue? Kind of funny how it just popped up.
So, if you did "alot more stuff" on every 6.0 that came in the shop since the recall was issued, you would think it would be pretty straightforward by now right?
The o5e15 is EBP sensor replacement, degass bottle sticker, and engine recalibration.
Reflashes can be done wrong and they can cause problems.
And if they are done wrong, can't they just be re-done correctly?
So they called and said that they replaced the EBP sensor, and that threw the CEL code before they flashed the PCM with the latest update.
