sensor problems
on my 1987 F-150 302 there is a water temp sensor screwed into the intake between the # 5&6 injector. i have heard that there is an after market adapter to plug into harness to bypass the sensor. is there one, and where can i find one?

Ahh yes, the '95 motor had the sensor out near the air filter. If you are using the '87 wiring and computer on the newer engine.. and there's no reason you can't, you need to drill and tap the water passage on the intake to insert this sensor. If you just leave it disconnected the motor will run stupid rich and get terrible fuel milage.

That's the air temperature sensor ... in the #6 runner? If there's no mounting hole, you can probably get away with just plugging the sensor into the wiring harness and letting it sit hang off of the harness. Swapping the intake manifolds would be another way to take care of it.
