Does anyone here have the cargo storage bins for the rear doors? If so, how do they attach to the doors? Does it replace the factory panel? Or are they screwed into the factory panel?

Thanks for posting that - I too didn't know they existed but saw them on eBay for $175....I thought that was a little high also but was considering ordering. I'm going to get them now...and I guess find out how they connect.
I have those bins and they are great! They screw right into the panels on the barn doors and really don't stick out much at all. I will measure(even try to post a picture) and get back to you.
We travel with 4 large dog crates and need all the space. We thought these bins would take up valuable room in the back, what they did was add functionality. Have a spot for collars, leads, treats, and other stuff in a real handy location.
I had those on my 2000. They screw in over the stock panel. You gotta drill holes through the panel.
They are too small for most stuff and stick out into the cargo area (about 8 inches) reducing usable space that is not made up for with the new bins. For those reasons I chose not to find some for my 05. If they could design something to use the interior of the door for storage, well, that'd be better. But the doors are a mess of supports and such.
Well I measure 4.5 inches. Don't know why yours were 8 inches, maybe not OEM? I do find them very handy and hope to get pictures soon(charging the camera as I write). Much better than the mentioned tupperware type of storage bin that takes up valuable floor space.
I was guessing. --oops-- Been a long time since I owned my 2000.
I found the edges sharp on the open bins (easily remedied) and I guess the real thing was that I never had anything that I needed to store in them. IIRC, you can't close the doors when carrying a 8' sheet(s) of plywood without the wood hitting the bins.
Ken, you must have used that ancient Hawaiian measuring!!! I also have these on our rig and actually like them. The side with the netting holds about 10 water bottles upright and I put some armorall wipes and chamois in the taller pocket.
I like the idea - and that's something that should be available cheap from some wrecker.
Note: I was going to put roof racks on my tent trailer and the RV dealer wanted hundreds of dollars for theirs. Then I realized that I could probably pick up old SUV roof racks for next to nothing from wreckers as who ever replaces a roof rack? They must be a dime a dozen. (Never followed through - sold the trailer.)
I dunno...Excursion weren't huge sellers, the cargo bins even less and they didn't come stock. Finding someone selling NOS (New Old Stock) on eBay is probably the best bet.
I have some pics, but don't see how to post them, asks for the URL of the location? Looks like I need to post them somewhere(where?) then supply the link. Can't seem to just insert the pic from my desktop.
