E4od removal...how do I plug fluid lines?

Hi guys, I think I have everything off that needs to be, except for the transmission cooler lines. Does anybody know of a good way to plug these lines so fluid doesn't pour out everywhere. I'm hoping that I can find some sort of rubber plug that I can just push in...otherwise, I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks,
Hunter

Drain the pan and torque converter first, keeps it from spilling fluid all over and makes it somewhat lighter at the same time!

The pan can be sort of a mess. Get a large fluid catch, and take off all the bolts except the corner ones. Loosen the bolts a little bit on one end (so that the pan can pivot on these just a tad) and put the catch under the other end. Take these bolts out and slowly lower the pan. Its going to make a mess no matter what you do, so have fun...

Thanks for the replies guys. I actually found some little cork stoppers at Lowes, and they worked great! The reason I didn't drain the pan is that I just changed the fluid and filter about 200 miles ago...so the messiness of it is still fresh in my mind. I don't want to go through that again for 15 or 20 thousand miles.

Thanks again,
Hunter
