Please tell me what width tire came as original equipment on a 1970 F350 with dual rear wheels.The rim diameter is 16 inch.

You can't buy stock tires for that truck anymore. They were something like F78 16.5. If you have 16" wheels, use 235/85 R16.

 

I found brand new 7.50 x 16's
Does F78 = 7.50?

 

Something like that. I don't know the exact size. Watch those tires though, they could be bias ply tires. You really want radials on your truck.

Being loyal to the big blue oval I bought a 1970 F350 flat bed.360/4speed.Same as no rust.VGC for its age.Daily driver.
No "check engine"light
