Turbo Boost gauge

Planning to install a turbo boost gauge on my 04 6.6 SD. Where is the best place to connect to the engine?

Dieselmanor.com has great pictures on this subject. They show you where to put your boost line.

tap into the blue map line or into the intake elbow.

Most people go into the intake elbow, thought I heard some people saying not to hook into the blue map line at some point or another, probably where the factory one is connected though I'd imagine. I just did mine 1 week ago and I peeled the intake elbow off and connected onto it. Reads generally around 20 psi with my max so far being 24 psi.

Did mine on the map line but I wouldnt do it that way again. After 20 psi the needle starts to shake. Most people say the intake elbow is the best route.
