Any help?

Hi folks, this is really not a truck question but someone might be able to answer. My buddy has a 1989 Ford tauraus. It has no spark and no fuel. Does anyone know if the TFI module on the side of the distributor go bad could cause no spark and no fuel?

It is a 3.8 litre

Mike: 1995 Explorer XLT,4.0 litre, 3.73 non-slip.

Any help?

Most any Parts house (NAPA) can test those parts...pull it out and check it...they cost an arm and a leg
