Hands down for the 2V V10 Doug Throley or Gale Banks long tube headers are the best. They come with a replacement y-pipe as well because the stock y-pipe is garbage. Type of exhaust depends on how loud you want it.
I wouldn't bother with a cat-back system. If you have a 2V engine, replace your Y-pipe with something that flows better, then get a performance muffler (your choice) and a decent tip.
I have just put a K&N cold air on my truck and i already have it programed, so i have plenty of power. I just want to make it breath better and sound badass. I wasnt sure if one pipe or duals were better on the V-10. I have heard two trucks with duals and they sounded like crap.
I'd keep the single 3" exhaust exiting out the back. If you want the "Dual look" you can use a single in dual out muffler. (3"in/2-2.5" out) A chambered muffler like flowmaster usually sounds better on the V10. I wouldn't go too loud with the muffler maybe a 50 series SUV, you want something with some volume to it. A replacement y-pipe like the Ebay y-pipe will make more power and make the exhaust louder but you will probably get a little exhaust flutter.
Those Doug Thorley's are expensive, the banks looks like the best bet for me, any other input though would be nice. I'm not doing anything yet i jsut wanted to get a good idea of what was out there, and hear it from guys that have used the products. Not just reading an advertisment.

The Banks headers cost more than the Thorleys. If a single exhaust is OK with you, I'd go with that.
