New Tires..

This past Friday I got out of my truck to do the all mighty dreaded act of all F150 Owners. Pump Gas. Ah Anyway. I noticed a slight hissing sound that was coming from my LR tire. Within the Next 2 months im going to end up buying a new set of tires anyway just saving money to do so. I figured I would just go visit my friend at the used tire place downtown. He got me settled on buying this Bridgstone Dueler A/T Revo that they had. I looked at it and the tire looked brand new, No bad spots, plugs, slits, gashes or anything. I had it put on. I really like the way the tire looks. I noticed that the truck seems to grip the road a little bit better also. Considering that there is only 1 of these tires on the truck it may just be my head. Point being.. Does anyone have these tires on there truck? If so lets hear some opinions on On and Off road preformance.

If you go to the Tire Rack's website you can search out this tire and read reviews by people who actually own the tire. I have found this to be a good resource.

I have Dueler A/T Revos on my truck (01 SuperCab 4x4) in P265/70R17s. They run great on the highway, very stable and have excellent wet traction, truck corners really well too. They don't leave the pavement much, but they don't seem to have trouble moderate off road conditions I've thrown at them (wet muddy roads). I can't comment on snow traction because I have snow tires for the winter, but I've heard they're just fine. My only complaint would be they seem a bit noisy on the highway, however mine are mounted on a 9 inch wide rim, which I think may contribute to the problem. I've read a lot of reviews on them and everyone says they're pretty quite so I am probably the 0.3%. Also they wear like iron. If they're a good price, I would recommend them!
