It won't pass emissions!!
Hi guys I have a 1989 Buick century. i know this isn't a buick site!!! I need help though. Anyway, It has a 3.3L v6 with fuel injection. The darn thing just won't pass emissions. Here is a list of what I had changed so far.
Cat. Converter
1 Fuel injector
Oxygen sensor
spark plugs/wires
air filter
The symtoms are it smells like rotton eggs and blows out black smoke. I'm failing hydro carbons and carbon dioxoide. Please I need some help!!
I have spent well over $600 buck the car only cost 1200!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-Dec-02 AT 04:55 PM (EST)]fuel pressure regulator is bad - fix it quickly or you'll wind up destroying the new catalytic converter. Isn't your mileage rather poor also?
