I have a pic in my gallery of my damaged rotor.
my brakes squeel when applied, the harder you press the less they squeel. but you can still hear an unplesent sound.
notice that the mark does not go all the way around ?
any one else ever had this problem ? and what did you do to fix it?
You're going to have to replace that rotor. Is that spot ground in very deep? The only reason I can come up with for that is too much run out. It's either a problem with the hub or the disc, most likely the disc.

that is the second driverside rotor to have done that. you think it could be my hubs ?
hard to tell from that picture, but is that damage only on about 2/3 of the rotor? If so, that would make me think that the rotor or hub is somehow out of round and the rotor is wobbling as it rotoates.
Any damage on the back side of the rotor opposite to this damage?
Some part has too much run out. If you have a dial indicator and a stand, you can check the hub. It makes the most sense.
i put a dial caliper on it a while ago,the rotor does run out, it attaches to the hub, which has 4 bolts hoding it in the knuckle, is it possible to shim the hub or rotor to make it sit true ?
after the first rotor i took everything apart cleaned and reassembled everthing agian, the run out was not as bad the second time. my brakes made no noise but now they are making the exact same sound which produced the rotor i took a pic of.

there is no damage on the back side of the rotor, the little metal clip that holds the brake pad in place it the part that actually makes contact with the rotor, I have also not been able to purchase just those clips. my hawp pads did not come with new ones.
