Odometer Lights (LEDs)

Hello everyone. I own a 2000 F150, V6, 5-spd with 120K miles on it. I have a problem I was hoping someone could help me with. The odometer lights come on and off intermittently. The odometer continues to record the milage. Has anyone come across this problem? Thank you in advance for any help.
