3 speed shifters

Ive got a question on my 77 with a 3 speed on the tree. Does anyone make any sort of a floor shifter for these? Im thinking about fixing it up some, but, I really am not wild about the colum shifter. Also, what model is that transmission anyway?

No the 3.03 is referring to the distance between the counter and main shaft of the trans it is just the name given to the trans. I believe there was also a 2.77 that was light duty, used in eary 60s 6cyl car I think.

Correct....used in 144/170 Falcons/Fairlanes/Comets/Meteors, early '65 Mustangs (before 8/23/64) with a 170 engine.

Yes, floor shifters are made for these. My '78 has one and it works quite well. It's a little bit of a reach because the stick is short compared to a stock floor shifter, but it's not bad at all.
