f350 trans help
I broke a trans line in my 86 f350, bought a brake line and made it work to get her homeI was down over 1 qt. I couldn't find mercon II so I used mercon v...... will my tranny be ok with the mercon v or did I mess up?

no one in here knows what tranny fluid they use in thier trucks as opposed to mercon 2?

Isn't Mercon V the synthetic version? I believe it is, and so everything would be OK.

Mercon V was all I ran when I had a C6 in my truck. You'll be fine.
