Ranger Tranny Noises
My 02 XLT 4x4 3.0 V6 is making a screeching and clanking noise from the tranny. It is a manual. The clanking I can best describe as being timed. There is a rhythm to it. It isnt sporadic when it does. It does it in all gears, less with the clutch engaged, but only until you hit about 3000 RPM. My thought is flywheel, anyone have any other suggestions?
