turbo question

hey guys i have a 1992 f250 with the 7.3 and a buddy of mine has a good garrett turbo i could have the question is would that work on my truck? i didnt think so but i could be wrong. anybody know thanks.

That depends on which Garrett turbo he has.

And the plumbing for the exhaust and intake are going to be a bit hard to fabricate.

Yup wich garet? the factory turbo trucks use garrets and the ATS turbos are bassed off garets. From what i've been told on here the factory turbo trucks and newer ATS kits used T-3/T-4s but my turbo service manuale update says its a T-3

well its off of a 96 i guess not really sure on that i have the numbers that were on the tturbo if that helps. would it still work

It can be made to work. I think 96s were non waste gated so it wont spool very quicly also the way they mount is different but there are users on here that have done it.
