Transmission question
2008 - F250 - SD - CC - 4X4 - V10 - Long bed - Auto trans. - 3K miles
Just wondering if this thing is normal.
When I start from cold, it really ROARS ... sounds like a slipping transmission ... but rpms are not real high and it seems to have plenty of power ( it does sort of pulsate for about 30 seconds after starting) then after it warms up it doesn't seem to roar....just normal.
Anybody else have this on their 2008? I currently get about 8.5 in city driving. (haven't took any road trips to check highway mileage yet) Tires have 55 psi from the dealer.
I wonder if I should get the dealer to check to see if the tranny is maybe slipping a little when cold or if this is normal. I also think I will raise the tire pressure some.
Any thoughts.
Thanks
Kirk
