anybody have....

the factory style, aftermarket grille that is all chrome? wondering how it looks on our trucks. pics would be nice if you have them. thanks.

Have you heard that some 02' have the chrome under the black/gray paint. Some people use I think mineral spirit to rub on a place you can't see to see if it chrome underneath.

I tried my 01, not there. I think it was only on the 02'.

damn Benny..you had to post that agian...i love the look...
i have a early 99 grill..ill have to check it for chrome..i have an 02 on the truck..but i already painted it black to match the truck before you found chrome under yours..just might need to see if that one is chrome as well...

what will be in the bottle Rick???

Ron, I think mineral spirit would take the coating off. Am I wrong?

thanks guys, looks better than i thought it would. was gonna do the 05 front end conversion but i dont want to part with that much jack right now with fuel prices being what they are. so i'm looking at other options. grille and 05 lights will probably be the way i decide to do it.

another question. if i do the front end level kit, what is the best size tire to run whithout rubbing? found some mickey thompson wheels for sale, one set is 17" and the other is 20".

I got to go home, We are closing the store Monday. Nice to have 2 days off in a row. lol
