Hello All. I'm a Newbie here, but not to Ford trucks. I'm having difficulty in finding Headers for my '77 F150 4x4 standard cab. The problem is that I've got a newer model 302ci. ,post manual fuel pump, motor in that '77 body. I'm not having any luck with the standard Header makers. I'm hoping that some of my bretheren out there may know of a company that makes a Header for me.
I am in the same boat as you - 302 in a 4x4, and have yet to come across any that don't interfere with either the clutch release or column-shifted automatics. A couple looked like they might work with a floor-converted automatic, but still very close to the driveshaft. I was thinking of maybe trying some blockhugger shortie style? Anyone know if they work with 4-spd 4x4?
if you call Jegs usually they have someone there that will know. I find that they carry alot of stuff that they don't list full discriptions for. I always call them when i buy stuff for my Ranger cause no one is crazy enough to buy performance products for one, and they tell me what will work.
the year of the motor is the same. i think if you wanted to go cheap look for 80's fox body mustang headers. (mustang people call them manifolds) but they are basicly the same size and cheap.
