Question for B spring guys

How far do you guys sag when you put your trailer on?(without bars)

Trying to decide between b's and RAS. Tried P rear springs but the rear drops just like stock.

thanks roger

Roger, no offense bro, but your question is way too vague.

How much does your trailer weigh? Is it properly distributed so you have 10 to 12 percent on the tongue?

Your "sag like stock" will never be the same as my "sag like stock" (before my spring upgrade), so it's difficult to answer your question.

How much sag is too much sag, for you?

Are you talking overall sag, or sag in relation to how high the front end was sitting when compared to the rear, prior to the trailer hook-up?

Are you wanting info on B code spring sag, in relation to the front end before the trailer is hooked up, with OEM front springs or upgraded front springs?

With bigger blocks in the rear or with the OEM blocks?

Please provide more info, or ask your question a little more specifically, so we can chime in and try to help.

I have the V/B code upgrades with the larger 3.5" block in the rear. With my travel trailer fully loaded (I'm guessing it was around 8K lbs when I did this) with water in all the holding tanks, (black, grey, fresh), but without any of the camping gear, and without the bars on, my rig sat almost perfectly level. It was just a hair lower than the front by around a half inch, give or take (my memory aint super clear). But I don't know if you consider that sag or not.

what I mean by sag is when I put the trailer on with out the bars (just to see). she drops like a rock. like 5 inch??? My f250 only goes about 2 or 3 inch, and it tows the trailer very well. Got a set of P spring cheap, but they don't hold the load any better.

My question is will the b springs fall a few inches or more? People with RAS has stated that they get 1 to 2 inch of sag. Trailer tongue weight is about 1000-1100lbs.
would perfer the spring but not if they will still sag that far.

thanks roger

Gotcha! You painted a picture-perfect point of reference for me.

My Ex drops down like your F250, right around 2 inches.

I have the complete V code, B code, 3.5" tapered rear blocks, Bilstein shocks, Hellwig rear sway bar setup. I love it...I really do.

Since the V's and B's are the standard OEM springs that come on the 4x4 F250, I think you'll find upgrading to them will allow your Ex to mimic the traits you find in your F250.

Thank you. Didn't want to put the B's on and still have to add somthing else! I put the T spring on the front (v10), and they feel good. Guess I will order the spring today and see how they do.

thank you
