Did use a big cricket to catch the bream that was used to catch this, lol.

I guess the left coast guys can get things together a little better than us.

My favorite is the 48-50 F1 with the supercharged 460. I wish I could talk dear ol' dad into putting a better engine in his 50. 300hp just doesnt seem like enough

went saturday night in Effingham and caught this. Weighed close to 25lbs. Caught another one that weighted about 10lbs and a couple of bream and one nice size eel. Had a fun night.

Yeah, in the lynches river, I guess it wouldn't be Effingham exactly, it was near the Friendfield landing. That fish is nothing compared to some of the ones that my bro pulls out of the Big Pee Dee though, but the water was to low there to put a boat in to get to the good spots. Do you live near florence?

Damn man that is one hell of a catfish.

If it isn't raining to bad I'm leaving for a weekend camping trip tomorrow on the Saluda, I can only hope to pull one out that size...would make for some nice fillets.

We got some nice fillets off of that one and the the other small one I caught.

Once I restock my all my tackle that was stolen when my truck was stolen and get the time I'm going to hit up some of the rivers in Columbia too.

Back in the day we did something similar with some high powered M80's (back when they were good) but it only yielded a few fish.

I didnt catch a dang thing. Ive been on the lake all flippin day...got a little sun burnt....drank a few beer...and had a good time, just no fish.

The only fish that managed to make its way into the boat was a 6" long baby striper that somehow got snagged by one of my trebble hooks. Major suck!

Well ended up paddling out in our kayaks to an island in Lake Murray and stayed Fri and Sat night. Had a good time, didn't catch a damn thing but a sunburn. Did end up losing my wedding ring swimming Saturday night after my buddy and i downed a liter of jager....wife isn't to happy about that.

I'm going to have to do something EXTRA special for our anniversary this year to make up for that.

Good time though.
