dash lights

i think i remember reading that someone wanted to make there dash lights a differant color, that inspired me to make mine red, just switched the 194's and removed the covers

there actually not bad, the reds a little dim, but the it makes the white glow

Only problem with doing this is that the rest of your dash lights (headlight, wiper, heater control and radio) need to be done as well or it doesn't look right.

They would still be green and IMO it's either all or nothing.

i just got red 194's at canadian tire, nad put i'm in.


and the wiper/light was easy, 1 bulb. still have to do heater but it looks fine

and the stereos far from stock so i wouldn't worry about it

and the all red interior lights help

the dash ones just pop out, the wiper one you have to macgyver a bit

I agree with you here Uncle Stosh.

You can remove the lens from the headlamp and wiper illumination, and you can drill the plastic rivets holding the face on the heater control panel on to remove the lens there too. Just replace the rivets with screws.

The factory radio, depending on the model would be very easy to difficult, to if not impossible.

And the Factory clock would be impossible to change.

With all the work involved, and a few impossible to change, I like the Gween, just fine.

194's come in red, green, blue, amber and possibly other colors. The blue plastic filters darken with age.
