how do u get the calipers off of a 84 ranger ?it has no bolts but i think they call them wedges, they look like alot of trouble please help me. THANK YOU

not sure but if they are the diamond shaped wedges at the ends of the calipers you can get a large punch and drift them out. You should buy replacements when you rebuild the brakes. Best way is to push them in from the sides of the wedge and then drift them out. Replacement is about the same as removal except just tap them in till the seat.
Again I am not familiar with them but that is what was on my f250.
These are no problem at all! You simply tap them out with a flathead screwdriver (or punch) and tap them back in!
Hank is correct you should get new ones, as the rubber part tends to collapse over time, resulting in a loose fit. Also make sure they are lubed real well with a rubber-friendly and heat resistant lubricant (caliper lube is fine).
Just pay close attention.. one side is more narrow than the other. If you install them wrong it can cause your calipers to stick.
