Does it look like a repaint? Under the hood, door jambs, overspray?

It was the '70s and colors like that were around.

You can post your door plate info and ND may spot it and do the paint code for you.

Orange you glad you asked?

Looks like the color Burnt orange to me. A Factory color.
Like the truck in this add here...


Posting the color code for numberdummy to decode would confirm it either way though.

I believe that would be "Tangerine" as noted in the Brochure.

yes it was stock, well at least my 1977 F150 short box 4x4 was that color and worked out good for me living in Denver Broncos country. I cant post pics but mine was just like that and I have a add from a mag for the new 78s and one is that color.

It looks correct to me.

One way to find out is look under the seat. The original color will be there in unfaded, like new condition.

Once that's known, post the trucks PAINT code listed on the Warranty Plate.
