I have been having this problem for a few weeks now. When I lock the truck(with remote the horn will double beep indicating door ajar/unlocked) the interior lights are staying on along with the running board lights. In about 2 minutes they go off (i assume its on some kind of timer). My dash light is indicating the door open. It is something to do with the back door i have figured out through pattern of this happening.
Does anyone have any experience with bad grounds and remedies for fixing or diagnosing this?

THANKS!
There are several threads on here dealing with the door ajar issue. I had same problem with driver side rear door. Basically, repair is this:
1. Spray mechanism inside door with WD-40 or whatever.
2. Close and open door firmly several times.
That's it. It seems this works way more often than not!!
second that, it the rear door actuator. i believe you can only but it with the rear lock latch though, about 60 bucks around here... but the wd should work..
I had the same problem here with my 05X when I purchased it last November. Lights would not go off and it was the switch on the rear doors/glass. If I close it with just a little force (not hard) lights go out as they should. Lightly closing latches them but does not trip the switch. I
have not done the WD 40 trick but will tonight.... along with the adjustment to the wandering steering issue... and cleaning up the mess from the TV screen install last night...... Too many commitments and never enough time.
