Headlights...uneven..,
well here is the thing my light need readjusting. what is the proper way to adjust them? Is it something like 25 feet from a flat surfice or something? and which screws adjust up and down? and is there side to side adjustment?
Oh and one more thing....the passenger side light is brighter than the drivers side light.

I dunno. My truck seems to do funny things.
On my '02, the headlight adjusters are under a little plastic cover that you see when you open the hood. The covers are each held on by two screws. The adjusted takes a tiny 5/32 wrench...
I adjust mine by first noting if they are too high or low driving at night...then I go find a level parking place with a blank wall, and just basically turn the adjuster bolt until I lower or raise one light to where I feel it should be, then go drive it. If that seems correct, I adjust the other to match (back at that wall). Count the number of turns on the adjuster, and jot it down, and if they were CW or CCW. The, while driving at night you may later decide you got them too low or too high. It just takes some fiddlin'.
You will find charts showing how high eah should be at "x" feet, but the new light patterns don't work well fo me when trying that.
Wait a dark and reajust all. What did cops told you when you claimed about abs failure.... Seems to me ABS could not save you that time... BTW, did you fix your ABS....?
The incident was ruled a "traffic accident" with no party at fault.
one of the adjustment screws is broken on passenger side. I'm still stumped about the drivers side being a bit dimmer though. A loose ground or failing element is food for thought though. Thanks.
