1973 ranger charging system issues
recently the alt light on the dash has illiuminated and the battery went dead. I then replaced the battery, altinator, and regulator with brand new ones. But the altinator is still not charging the battery and the veichle dies after the battery power has been used up. please post any ideas on wat could still be causing the problem.

I'd recommend buying a digital multimeter (they're like $30 at Radioshack, and are great to have in general). Then you can know exactly how much charge or drain you have going on.
