Needing some help guys. Trying to put a WW in a turbo and cannot get the turbo removed. The only thing holding me back is the EBPV rod. I am almost certain that is what it is. It is the rod that is pretty much directly underneath the turbo.?. I think there is a certain way you are supposed to push it but I can't seem to get it Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Well thanks any way - You can help me with something then - how do you get your signature on and how did you go about putting it in with the turbo on because I still have another one to put on after this and this is a PITA. Thanks
grab the clip with a pair of needlenose pliers, and push/pull towards the driver's side, the clip should come off after it comes loose from the rod.
On edit: here's the writeup on turbo removal: 99-03 Turbo Removal & Wicked Wheel Installation .: Articles

I think you got to have enough post to post you sig. As for the WW with turbo on, go to guzzles for ww install and removal. Big time slow .
The )#@!%)@_ clamp that holds the turbo to the up-pipe. It also holds the turbo to the spider Y but that is in front. Took me 3 hrs to get the clamp out and the turbo back in
