Radio Help
I am tring to remove the radio from my 89 Ranger. I have the tool that goes in the holes but I can't tell if I need to remove the dash surrond to get it out. Any help will be apreciated.

make sure you are getting the tool in just far enough but not too far. You should here a faint click when you are at the right spot, if you go to far it makes it very hard to get the clip to release and pull out. If you can see the edges of the radio face plate with no obstruction then you won't have to remove anything to get the radio out. I can't remember ever seeing a radio that you had to remove anything from the dash first.
