I never passed english in school
I was asking if there are any other headers to put on a 1979 f250 400 motor with a dana 60 front end. I only see fender exit headers that headman make. there chasis exit headers will not fit with the dana 60. I am looking for full length headers. thanks
I have hedmans on my 78, They are a tight fit. I had to lift the motor, and cuss a little, but they fit without trimming. I do have a dana44, but I don't see how the 60 would make much of a difference, since the headers don't run near the axle. If you cross your exhaust over for a single exhaust, the front driveshaft would be in a different place, but that should be easily accomodated by a good exhaust shop!

for some reason the books say will not fit with a dana 60 front end. It might be because the shock mounts are in a different location than a 44
Problem I had with full lenght headers on my was that they ended up exiting dead center of the trans cross member about 2 to 3 inch away. That why I went with the shorties. I still have the full lenght ones in the garage never started the motor when they were on.
Bigpern2 is right they where a tight fit, I also had to undue both motor mounts and jack the motor up to get them in. One side of them came with in a 1/8" of touching them frame rail. The full lenght one I tried was Hedman Hedders 89216
