alright I know I shouldn't be starting this topic 'cause i know there is going to be some arguing about it, but oh well.
now my friend is a smart guy, #2 in our class (4.0 GPA). he has a 2002 Chevy 1500, 5.3L, Z71, single IMCO glasspack with echo tips. he said about 2 weeks ago that Flowmaster and MagnaFlow are louder than a glasspack(s) since it is a chambered exhaust. now does that make sense?
1. he has a glasspack on his truck.
2. how would something with a straight through design be less loud than something with "chambers" in it?
now I'm still gonna be his friend, but to me that just does not make any sense at all. does it make sense to y'all?
im sorry, i couldn't hear what you said. i was standing next to a chevy with glass packs. lol (seemed funnier when i was typing it ). my opinion is the same as montana highboy. and glasspacks get louder the longer you have them, the fiberglass burns away after a while.
