80's column
Has anyone done this swap. I have searched this forum and came up with someone asking if a 80's lincoln will fit or not. No one answered if one would fit or not. What about a 80's ford truck with floor shift? Im going to try the yard this week and see of I cant get some pics and measurments to see if one will come close. I know the cabs are different, but that could mean the steering wheel location could be closer to the dash, a big plus for my face!!

Short answer yes, but it will not be a direct bolt up, and you may need to cut it, move the dash collar etc. Steering columns are probably the the most customized part on vehicles over the years.
One of the things on my wish list is to cut mine 2 1/2 inches and get the wheel further away.
