The doors will bolt on. The dash line on the door panels will be a little different, but the panels are also interchangable.

I have '90 doors on my truck with the '90 panels. The lines dont match the rest of the interior, but it's pretty close. No one even notices until I point it out.

Will the fenders and grill from a later F-250(1989+) fit on a 1986 F-250 or will the headlights not work because the cowl is different?

Not by themselves no.

As said earlier in this thread, you need to use the whole front clip.

5" i.d. they were on sale when I got them so they were cheaper than the 4" stacks.

The cabs are all the same from 80-96, if it's a ex-cab the side window changes in 92. The wheel openings on 80-86 is more squared as where the 87-92 is rounded. I believe if you put the new (87+) clip on the older (86-) you have to also change the cowl panel where your wipers are at because of the hood line especially if it's 92+ front clip.

I have a unique question here, maybe someone can answer, didn't want to start a new thread tho'. Will the Dual headlights (the over & under ones) from a Ranchero fit into the headlight & turn signal cavity of my '80 F-100 if I put the turn signals somewhere else? And just what yr. Ranchero was that? Anybody know??
