im looking at a 1989 ford econoline for sale on craigslist im most likely going to buy it but i was wondering is there any way to get a lift kit or body lift for these vans?
It's had to find anything performance wise also. HAve you had any luck with other performance struff like headers, tuners for gas engine, catback exhaust, air intake?
I dont know about the 2wd van front ends. I havent ever looked at one but the short answer is yes you can lift both the suspension and the body. The ford has a full frame so spacers can be used to lift the body. And the rear leaf springs can be arched for more lift or change position of the rear spring hangers.
But dont expect there to be an off the shelf kit. You have to put some time into researching it for yourself and making it happen.
