sparkplug blowout help

I have a 03 exp. plug blew out 2days ago tried to put it back in but it would tighten up. I wanted to know what ford charges to fix or is there other fixes out there without taking the head. It was the third plug back on pass. side from front .

There are thread repair kits that you can use. This is all Ford would do anyway. Which plug blew?

Try Timesert. They are well recommended by folks with this problem, and you can even do it without removing the head.

There's also some TSB's on the blown plug problem. Read through some of them to see how Ford deals with it. Most methods can be done without pulling the head. Just be careful not to get metal shavings down in the cylinder.
