long fast trip

got home today after leaving 6:00 am Friday going to Teluride, than down to Ekert dropped off a puppy with a previous co worker to go to his new home in Denver, dropped of wifes wedding ring with Jeweler friend to have diamond reset, drove to Moab slept about 6 hours in car and back home at 1:00 today 32 hours total. 1118 miles, mostly at 85 to 90 mph averaged 18 MPG in the suburban. not too bad for a Chevy with just a hair under a quarter of a million miles on it.

I don't think I could walk 80 ft after all that driving.

That is good gas mileage. Glad you made the trip OK. Man what I would give to beable to travel like that again. I've been thinking over the possibly of just having to move this trailer & stuff 600 miles. It just seems like a lot of work.
