Hi everyone, I have a '91 f150 with a 302 engine, manual trans. I'm having some issues with idling. Upon startup, the engine normally runs to about 1500 rpms for 30 seconds or so then falls down to normal idling. On occasion it will begin to creep back up after you attempt to begin driving. But the biggest issue is that, while driving, when you mash in the clutch, the rpms go way up there, around 2,000-3,000 rpm or possibly higher. I know about the IACV, but has anyone else had this problem with a manual trans. F150? I'm at my wits end here. Thanks!
