brake shoes

need some info. havnt done drum brakes forever 96 bronco drums rusted to pieces shoe pads all gone. Forgot which shoe goes to the front thick or thin?

Never seen a thick and a thin but the one with the longer lining should go twards the back.

the linnings are the same length. chiltons says one is a primary the other a secondary but doesnt tell the difference . tried one side both ways it all fits either way.

Well if you can't get an answer I would put the thick one twards the back because in self energizing drum brakes the rear shoe does more work than the front.
