I live in the traffic congested Jacksonville Florida area and would like to be able to have my headlights automatically come on during the day whenever the truck is running. I have the "Auto-On-Delay" function for night that I assume is triggered by a photocel and thought if I could cover it up then they would automatically come on for daytime use as well.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Why not just buy the Daytime Runnimg Light kit from Ford? It costs about $80 and is a plug in system. Either this forum or the other one has step by step instructions for installng the DRL mod if you want to read about it before taking it on. The DRL mod uses your high beams at a reduced voltage for lighting versus you are talking about activating your low beams at full intensity by blocking the photocell. You can do it your way, but I bet you will change your bulbs every year.
