If you have the stock air box, you will need to take the box off to get the filter to fit. Some people use a 4" piece of 4" exhaust pipe to put the filter to the intake hose. Also get another 4" clamp. You will love the sound.
I just did my 6637 mod about two weeks ago, i really like the way that i sound. It was a very easy mod to do. It took all of about 15 min to do. I have just order my cover from Pete.

Yea, I like the look of the Covers that Pete has. Your yellow one is very nice looking. It seem to Run better also. You can't do a filter mod for a better price. I am going to have to work on getting a pic of it.

how do I know if I have the stock air box? can you tell from the pic I posted?
pulled the filter out and took a look at it last night, lots of crap in that thing, did not look to well taken care of.. so the K&N mod was nothing more than the filter? (and the guy slapped a filter on there?)

The drop-in K&N filters like yours is a plug and play. Make sure there is not crud in the intake to the turbo - fine dust etc. K&N's are not a good fit for PSD's.
