Intro...
I just bought a dented, slightly rusty 68 Ranger as a secondary vehicle.I ride a 66 Triumph. I intend to keep the truck stocked with extras like cables, small parts and tools for my bike and set the bed up to haul a bike or two.
I'm not going to keep it as a total beater, though. I'm going to clean it up, fix the bodywork and see to it that the internals are good and well maintained. I'm not going to go crazy with mods, but I am going to get it in order, with a few simple touches my way. When it's all said and done, I'll still treat it like a truck, after all, that's what they were born to be.

Thanks for the welcome. I will indeed be at the All Truck Nats. See you there. There appears to be a lot of well informed guys on here. I'll be leaning on you from time to time for some info and hopefully be able to pass some on down the road.
Cool, any time just PM or email me if you have any questions.
A lot of the FTE members are Master and/or Certified mechanics and are willing to offer their knowledge to all of us.
Glad to see you are going to the All Truck Nats. The MidAtlantic will have a tent for all of us to park around on the fair grounds.
