bent axle

well i just swapped a lightning rear into my 94 f150 and took it around the block to find out that it has a bent axle.....so saturday morning i woll be swapping axles.... just wanted to know what gear fluid to use for a limited slip 410 rear

You will need EP80W90 gear oil plus the limited slip diff. additive. You can also buy the same oil with additive already mixed in.

You'll need about 3 quarts of lube ,give or take a few ounces, as well as the additive/friction modifier. I used just shy of the 3 quarts and a pint of modifier when I rebuilt the rear carrier in my F-150

well i swapped out the axle today and it went pretty good.... and going from an open rear with 308s to a posi rear with 410s is quite a difference
