MAP sensor damage from pressure test?

I was wondering if it might be possible that the MAP sensor and or the wastegate control valve could have been damaged from excessive pressure when I did the boost pressure leak test with the pressure from the air compressor which I may have accidentally allowed to get too high before I got my regulator adjusted. I am not sure but I may have let upwards of 60 or more psi in there for a moment before I caught the mistake (shop compressor max.s out at 125 psi, but I doubt it could have gotten near that high in the intake plumbing for the short moments I allowed this to happen. Afterwards, there was a huge loss of power in the low rpms, which seems to have gotten better(could a malfunctioning MAP sensor cause this?), and now the boost pressure falls off once it reaches 13 psi in the higher rpms. Check engine light has never come on, but a technician said there were some stored codes that related to low boost). There doesn't seem to be any pressure leak external to the engine (all boots, pipes, and hoses are good). Any experienced advice would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing I would do is check for leaks to make sure you don't have any caused by the high pressure. If you could tell us what the codes were that would be a big help.

Try unplugging the MAP. That should cause the PCM to assume inferred boost pressure. See if that clears up the low rpm problem. If it does you may need a new MAP
