Can anybody tell me why Ford chose to put tachs on the automatic transmissions and not the standards? Kinda backwards if you ask me.
Also, my '97 F-150 wipers come on by themselves from time to time. They'll come on at high speed and will not shut off until I turn the wiper switch to that position and back off. If I use the intermittent wipers they will not shut off unless I push in the washer button. Is this typical or do I have gremlins?
I have noticed that too...all the Autos have tachs and the Manual Trans dont...My dads 98 f150 w/ a standard didnt have one but his 01 with an auto does.....hmmmmmmm....
